Bomb threat email triggers security scare at Passport office in Bareilly

Bareilly, Apr 13 (UNI) Panic spread today after a bomb threat was received via email at the passport office in DD Puram, Bareilly.
The alarming message claimed that an explosion would occur at 1:10 PM, prompting immediate action from authorities.
Police teams, along with a bomb disposal squad and dog squad, rushed to the scene and conducted a thorough search of the premises. As a precautionary measure, all staff members were evacuated and remained outside the office for nearly half an hour. Officials carefully inspected every corner of the building and checked bags of individuals present. After nearly 90 minutes of intensive search, no suspicious object or explosive material was found.
