Dacoit - A Love Story enters US top 10 box office

Mumbai, April 15 (UNI) The romantic crime drama "Dacoit – A Love Story", featuring Adivi Sesh, Mrunal Thakur and Anurag Kashyap, made a place in the top ten on the U.S. box office.
The film has recorded strong performances in both global and domestic markets. On its fifth day of release, it ranked No. 7 on the USA box office charts and remained in the top 10 until Tuesday, reflecting its growing international popularity and strong word-of-mouth among overseas audiences.
Another important factor contributing to the film's success is the significant increase in viewership for its Hindi version. The box office recorded a 15% increase compared to the previous day, reflecting the film's growing interest and acceptance, especially among Hindi-speaking audiences.
Adivi Sesh said, "It's incredibly encouraging to see Dacoit connecting with audiences not just in India but internationally as well. For a film like ours to break into the top 10 at the USA box office on its fifth day of release is truly special, and speaks volumes about the kind of stories audiences are ready to embrace today."
He further emphasised that the rise in Hindi market collections is emblematic of more than mere numerical growth; it reflects word-of-mouth, audience trust and their connection to the story and characters. As filmmakers, one wants the film to grow with each passing day.
