Mumbai, June 12 (UNI) Veteran actor Anil Kapoor is set to host the upcoming reality show "India Ke Top 1%".
The show will soon be aired on Star Plus channel and its format is said to be completely different and challenging.
The show will test participants' reasoning, common sense, quick decision-making, and ability to think under pressure. Unlike traditional quiz shows, the questions will not be based solely on memorisation or trivia, but rather on their ability to make quick and accurate decisions in real-life situations.
Talking about the show, Kapoor said, "I have always believed that India is a country of people with unparalleled understanding, insight, and practical intelligence. Walk down any street or neighborhood in our country, and you'll find people who use their ingenuity to solve even the most complex problems. This is not due to mere bookish knowledge, but rather, life experiences. In India, we consider 'jugaad' to be our special strength, and this is what makes Indians stand out in every field. When I saw the format of 'India Top Ke 1%,' I immediately liked it. This isn't a show that asks you about historical dates, but rather examines how well your mind works under pressure, based on logic and common sense. This is what makes it unique."
Expressing his excitement about joining the project, the actor said he is looking forward to interacting with contestants from across the country and witnessing the diverse ways in which people approach problems. UNI NST CDS
