Haryana eyes ‘Glydways’ pod taxi system to transform urban mobility

Chandigarh, April 15 (UNI) In a significant move toward modernizing urban infrastructure, the Haryana government is actively considering the introduction of an advanced pod taxi transit system, known as Glydways, across its major urban centers.
This initiative, aimed at establishing a sustainable and smart mobility framework, marks a forward-looking step by the state to redefine public transportation. The project is expected to set a new benchmark for urban travel in the region, aligning with global standards of efficiency and technology.
A high-level delegation representing Japan’s Suzuki Motor Corporation and the US-based firm Glydways met with Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini at his residence, Sant Kabir Kutir, on Wednesday.
