Haryana: Two accused arrested for cyber fraud of Rs 1 lakh

Kaithal, Apr 15 (UNI) The district police have arrested two men for their alleged role in a cyber fraud of Rs 1 lakh.
The accused, identified as Deepak Kumar, resident of Balraj Nagar Gohana, District Sonipat, and Monu, resident of village Ganguli , District Jind, currently living in Rohtak -- have been arrested in connection of the fraud.
Police spokesperson stated that according to a complaint filed by Chhailuram, a resident of Pabsar village, on April 4, 2026, he received a message on Facebook Messenger from an ID named "Lavi America", featuring a photo of his relative's grandson. The accused, claiming to be his grandson, initiated the conversation and asked for Rs 3.50 lakh.
