KIIT University to host 61st Femina Miss India grand finale

Bhubaneswar, Mar 11 (UNI) The 61st edition of the prestigious Femina Miss India Grand Finale will be hosted at the KIIT Deemed to be University in April, adding a dash of glamour to the city's entertainment circuit and marking a historic milestone for both the institution and eastern India.
An MoU formalizing the partnership was signed in Mumbai on Wednesday between KIIT and Femina Miss India, making KIIT the first university in India to host this mega national event. This will also be the first time the grand finale of Femina Miss India is being organized in eastern India.
The agreement was signed in the presence of Achyuta Samanta, Founder of KIIT and Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences (KISS). The signatories included Saranjit Singh, Vice Chancellor of KIIT; S. S. Ray, Director General of the KIIT School of Architecture; and Rohit Gopakumar, Chief Executive Officer of The Times Group.
