Massive protest in Lucknow over power outages in different places in Lucknow

Lucknow, May 21 (UNI) Amid severe heatwave condition, power outage has created more problem for the residents of Lucknow city for the past couple of days, which led to a massive protest.
Annoyed citizens of several localities staged protests at different power stations against the power outages. In several areas people had to stay on the roads the entire night due to lack of power.
Though the UP government has ensured uninterrupted electricity during the peak summer season but failure and burning of transformers and tripping of power lines due to excessive load has created the crisis.
