Meghalaya CM reaffirms government’s commitment to equitable development and inclusiveness

Nongstoin, April 15 (UNI) Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad Sangma on Wednesday reaffirmed the government’s commitment to equitable development and inclusiveness.

Inaugurating the Nongstoin Community and Rural Development (C&RD) Development Office at Upper New Nongstoin in West Khasi Hills district, Sangma said that the C&RD department is the backbone of rural development with a mandate to uplift rural communities through stronger infrastructure, enhanced livelihoods and focussed poverty alienation programmes.
