"I will see a changed Kiara after 'Toxic'": Kiara Advani

Mumbai, Aug 9 (UNI) Actress Kiara Advani believes "Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups" will be a significant milestone in her career, with the film allowing audiences to see a markedly different side of her as a performer.
The trailer of 'Toxic', starring Rocking Star Yash, was released on Saturday at a grand event held in Bengaluru, in which Advani is seen in the role of Nadia. Her character appears to be full of sensitivity, emotional depth and intensity. She is playing the role of a circus artiste in the film.
The film's trailer gives a glimpse into the dangerous world of Yash's character, Raya. Set in Goa, this period gangster drama centres on themes of crime, power, family, and betrayal. Within this world, Nadia's character adds a unique emotional and suspenseful dimension to the story.
Talking about her experience with the role of Nadia and the film, the 35-year-old actress said, "I truly believe that Geetu and Yash made the character of Nadia come to life for me. They saw the potential in me and believed in me, even though at the time I didn't know I was ready to take such a bold step as an actress. Today, when I watch every little bit of my film, I feel like thanking Geetu and Yash. They gave me a character that will remain very special in my acting journey. I feel there will be a Kiara before 'Toxic' and a different Kiara after 'Toxic'."
Directed by Geetu Mohandas, "Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups" has been shot in Kannada and English.
The film will also be dubbed and released in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam.
It is set to hit the theatres on August 26.
