Multiple arests, arms, drug dealer from Myanmar nabbed in Manipur

Imphal, May 21 (UNI) Manipur Police and security forces carried out a series of operations across different districts of the State, leading to the arrest of insurgent cadres, drug traffickers including a man from Myanmar and accused persons, besides recovery of arms, explosives and narcotic substances, police said on Thursday.
In one operation conducted on Tuesday, Manipur Police arrested two cadres of a proscribed outfit from Imphal West.
Police recovered one InSAS Light Machine Gun (LMG), three magazines and 14 live rounds of ammunition from their possession.
