Telangana DGP inaugurates Uruguay–Scotland Match at Women’s Hockey Championship

Hyderabad, Mar 11 (UNI) Telangana state Director General of Police (DGP) B. Shivdhar Reddy on Wednesday inaugurated the Uruguay–Scotland match in the ongoing Women's Hockey World Championship 2026 at the Gachibowli Stadium.
The Director General of Police formally started the match by interacting with the players on the field and striking the ball to mark the opening of the game.
The contest, played under the full-base card line format, turned out to be an exciting encounter.
