Khushbu Sundar likely to join ‘Indraputra’, speculation around casting grows

Mumbai, Sep 4 (UNI) Veteran actress-politician Khushbu Sundar is reportedly in discussions to join the cast of the upcoming pan-India mythological action-fantasy‘Indraputra’.
Starring Kiran Abbavaram in the lead role, the film is being billed as the beginning of a larger mythological universe. Meanwhile, veteran actress Khushbu Sundar is also rumoured to be associated with the film.
However, there has been no official confirmation from either the makers or the actress regarding Khushbu's involvement in the film. Therefore, this is currently being treated as mere speculation. If Khushbu joins the film, her popularity across multiple languages could further strengthen its pan-India appeal.
Directed by Srikanth Puppala, "Indraputra" is inspired by Indian mythology. The film's story reportedly features aspects related to the Jagannath Temple and Lord Krishna. It is said to combine mythology, fantasy, and action with contemporary characters and a storyline.
Abbavaram will be seen in a different avatar in the film. His character is said to require emotional depth as well as physical transformation.
Puppala is preparing to present the Indian mythological heritage on a grand cinematic scale. The film is expected to feature high-octane action, fantasy, and mythological references. The makers plan to reach audiences across languages and generations.
The film is currently in pre-production and shooting is expected to begin on October 26. Official announcements regarding the rest of the film's cast and technical team are expected in the near future. The potential casting of Khushbu will also become clearer only after an official announcement.
