Kaushambi, Sep 3 (UNI) After father, Naushad, now Adil, the son of the owner of an illegal firecracker factory in Kaushambi, was arrested after a brief encounter by police on Thursday.
Adil was shot in both legs and admitted to the district hospital. According to police, they surrounded Adil (20) and attempted to stop him. But Adil turned his bike and tried to flee. The bike skidded. He opened fire on the police, firing two rounds. He was shot in the retaliatory fire. Police admitted him to the district hospital.

Lucknow, Sept 3 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh government has intensified monitoring of arrangements to provide better civic amenities to citizens in urban areas during the rains.
In this regard, state Urban Development Minister Arvind Kumar Sharma held a meeting with senior officials and reviewed various arrangements, including drainage, drain cleaning, and drinking water supply. He instructed officials to ensure citizens do not face any inconvenience during the rains and that waterlogging problems are resolved immediately.
