Rahul Gandhi to meet HP, J&K leaders at Congress training camp in Kangra

Una (HP), April 15 (UNI) Senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi will interact with the district party presidents of Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir during a training camp that will be held in Kangra from April 21 to April 30. He will infuse new energy into the party workers, said Vinay Kumar, HP Congress party chief.
Talking to the media here Tuesday evening, he said that, with the aim of strengthening the organisation, Block Congress Presidents will soon be appointed across the state. Following this, Congress executive committees will be constituted at the district level.
Vinay Kumar affirmed that the Congress party is fully prepared for the elections to Panchayati Raj institutions and municipal corporations. A comprehensive framework has been devised for this purpose. He further informed that a committee would be constituted to authorise Congress candidates for the District Council and Municipal Corporation elections. Party workers are instructed to extend their support exclusively to these authorised candidates.
