RMC sterilises 306 stray dogs, vaccinates 685 in Ranchi

Ranchi, March 11 (UNI) The Ranchi Municipal Corporation (RMC) has intensified its stray dog sterilisation and vaccination drive in the city to control the growing population of stray dogs and prevent rabies.
The campaign is being carried out with the support of the NGO Help and Animal Trust under the supervision of the municipal administration.
Officials said that between January 1 and March 10, a total of 439 stray dogs were captured during the drive.

Patna, Apr 21 (UNI) Independent MP from Purnea, Rajesh Ranjan alias Pappu Yadav, has landed in a fresh political controversy after remarking that “90 percent of women cannot succeed in politics without entering the rooms of politicians.”
Speaking at a press conference on the Women’s Reservation Amendment Bill, Pappu Yadav raised the issue of atrocities against women, from homes and offices to legislative bodies. He claimed that politicians are at the forefront when it comes to exploiting women, adding that politicians, from the United States to India, cast predatory eyes on women.
