Samrat Choudhary meets Governor, stakes claim to form government in Bihar

Patna, 14 April (UNI): The political development has been moving on an accelerated pace since this morning. The NDA Legislature Party leader, Samrat Choudhary, called on the Bihar Governor and formally staked a claim to form the new government in Bihar.
Choudhary, accompanied by BJP in charge of the political affairs of Bihar Vinod Tawde, union Minister of State for Home Nitya Nand Rai, HAM President and union minister Jitan Ram Manjhi and other dignitaries called on the Governor Ata Hasnain at Lokbhavan this evening and formally submitted the letter of support form the next government led by the BJP asserting the coalition's majority in the state assembly.
The move came after Choudhary was unanimously elected as the leader of the BJP Legislature Party and subsequently endorsed as the leader of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) in the state.
