Seven Thai women rescued from prostitution den

Mumbai, Apr 15 (UNI) Seven Thai women were rescued from a prostitution racket at a popular spa in Belapur area of neighbouring New Mumbai while an offence is registered against the owner and manager of the spa, police said today.
Acting on a tip-off, that immoral activities were going on in the spa, located in Trishul Goldmine building in Seawoods Sector-15, officials of the Anti-Human Trafficking Cell raided the spa, and rescued seven women from the premises. All of them were sent to the rescue home, police said.
An offence has been registered under various sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) at Chembur police station.
