Tripura plans for robust AVGC-XR ecosystem in digital framework

Agartala, May 21 (UNI) The Tripura government announced to lay the foundation for a robust Animation, Visual Effects, Gaming, Comics, and Extended Reality (AVGC-XR) ecosystem rooted in the State’s unique strengths, aligned with emerging industry opportunities, and capable of contributing to inclusive economic growth under the broader vision of the orange economy.
State’s Secretary of Information Technology, Kiran Gitte, reaffirmed the commitment to fostering an enabling environment for innovation-led growth and expanding opportunities for the youth in emerging sectors.
The proposed AVGC-XR Policy is intended to further this objective by supporting skill development, employment generation, entrepreneurship, and culturally rooted digital content creation, while positioning Tripura as an emerging AVGC-XR destination in the Northeast region.

Bhubaneswar, Jun 14 (UNI) Odisha's Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of the electoral roll has entered its final phase, with enumeration forms reaching a record 98.65 per cent of the state's electorate, reflecting significant progress in the drive to ensure an accurate and updated voter database.
According to the Office of the Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) released yesterday, enumeration forms had been distributed to 3,29,64,501 voters across the state as of 6 p.m. on June 13, covering nearly the entire electorate.
